Dog Training Lessons

Personalized training sessions are designed to build trust and refine behavior through positive reinforcement techniques, tailored to your dog's unique personality and your training goals.

  • A 90 minute Intake Session is required for all new clients, ahead of booking regular 60 minute sessions. If your dog is nervous about strangers or people in your home, the intake session will take place virtually and can be recorded for you to reference later. The Intake Session is 190$.

  • 60 minute sessions for established clients are 150$.

  • Sessions can take place at your home (providing your dog is comfortable with the trainer being in your home), outdoors in a nearby location or virtually.

  • The 60 minute sessions will start conclusion activities and questions at 50 minutes to ensure they end on time.

  • You will receive a short follow up email with homework and resources for each session.

  • Intake Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice, will incur a late fee of 70$ (exceptions for illness or injury).

  • Regular sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice, will incur a late fee of 50$ (exceptions for illness or injury).

When you schedule your discovery call, we will talk about what you hope to work on, unique challenges your dog may face, dietary restrictions, scheduling needs and more. I suggest writing down your questions, as well as important info for the trainer to know, ahead of the discovery call. When you are ready to book, you will be sent an in depth questionnaire to be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your first service.

Group Adventures

Dynamic group experiences that provide a social outlet and physical exercise in a safe manner, with other dogs of similar temperament. The groups are formed based on personality and social preferences. If your dog just likes to run and sniff, they will enjoy a group with similar interests. If your dog really wants to play and engage with friends, every effort will be made to group them with compatible adventure pals. Because personality is so important, adventure spaces are extremely limited. It is also important that your dog feel comfortable traveling in the trainer's car.

  • Adventures require a Meet and Greet (at your home) to test compatibility with the trainer, comfort getting in the car, and to go over home entry for pick up/drop off. The Meet and Greet is 30 minutes and costs 40$.

  • Adventures are 2 hours, give or take for the drive time to location.

  • The first adventure is considered a "Trial", to ensure your dog gets along with the group, learns the ropes of following the trainer, and is manageable off leash. Trial Adventures cost 100$.

  • After the Trial, a single adventures cost 90$. Recurring adventures will take place on the same weekday/time each week. The goal is that your dog become well acquainted with their group of adventure friends.

  • Adventures canceled with less than 24 hours notice, will incur a late fee of 40$ (exceptions for illness or injury).

  • Trainer provides treats unless your dog has a specialty diet or allergies. Then you would need to supply treats.

  • Adventure dogs must have a collar with id tags, and well fitting harness.

  • The will be equipped with a Garmin GPS collar for the adventure that has only tracking (and not shock) capability.

  • While this is not a training service, the trainer will reinforce basic skills like name response and recall.

  • We adventure rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather or poor air quality, adventures will be canceled with 24 hours notice and you will not be charged. Whenever possible, adventures will be rescheduled instead of canceled and you will be offered an alternate spot.

When you schedule your discover call, we will discuss your dogs social history, exercise needs, general health, and prior training. When you are ready to book, you will be sent an in depth questionnaire to be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your first service.

Enrichment Outings

Outings that focus on mental stimulation, decompression and environmental exploration; helping meet your dog's needs and promote general happiness. These may be a combination of training, sniffing, exploring, cardio, freedom of choice, and play. I know that every dog and every day are different. So my goal is to give your dog a bit of what they are missing and needing. I'm always happy to hear what you you think would be most enriching for them, and we can alter our plan for each outing, based on how your dog is feeling. I will select a location and game plan just for them on the day of the outing.

  • Enrichment outings require a Meet and Greet (at your home) to test compatibility with the trainer, comfort getting in the car, and to go over home entry for pick up/drop off. The Meet and Greet is 30 minutes and costs 40$.

  • Enrichment outings are 60 minutes (including drive time) and cost 75$.

  • Enrichment outings are just the dog and the trainer. I will text when I am headed to pick them up, and when we are headed back.

  • You will get a few pictures and a general summary of the outing.

  • Outings canceled with less than 24 hours notice, will incur a late fee of 25$ (exceptions for illness or injury).

  • We will go out rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather or poor air quality, outings will be canceled with 24 hours notice and you will not be charged. Whenever possible, outings will be rescheduled instead of canceled and you will be offered an alternate day/time.

During your discovery call, we will discuss your hopes for the service and your dog's basic outing needs. When you are ready to book, you will be sent an in depth questionnaire to be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your first service.

Socialization Outings

A service especially designed for puppies 9-21 weeks old. This is your puppy's critical socialization window. During this time, it is essential that you maximize safe, fun exposure to as much as you possibly can. The short list is: sights, sounds, people and dogs. Butr we know that there is so much more to it than that. Has your puppy walked on grass?! Have they played with water?! Have they had a chance to meet and interact with a wide variety of dog shapes/sizes/types?! The first 20 weeks of life really set your puppy up for many of the traits and dynamics they will carry thrpoughout life. Let me help you get started, form a plan, and/or just fill in gaps to ensure well rounded socialization. Many families feel unsure about the level and quality of exposure their puppy is getting. I want to guide parents, to ensure we are setting your puppy up for success.

  • Socialization outings require a Meet and Greet (at your home) to test compatibility with the trainer, discuss goals, and to go over home entry for pick up/drop off (if someone won't be home). The Meet and Greet is 30 minutes and costs 40$.

  • Enrichment outings are 60 minutes (including drive time) and cost 85$.

  • Socialization outings can incorporate the owner, or can be just the puppy and the trainer.

  • If you don't choose to be involved, you will get a few pictures and a general summary of the outing. I will also suggest places socialization should be increased or modified.

During your discovery call, we will discuss your hopes for the service and your puppy's current level of socialization. When you are ready to book, you will be sent an in depth questionnaire to be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your first service.

Common Questions

What is positive reinforcement?

I use humane, reward-based methods to teach. This will protect and reinforce your relationship with your dog instead of undermining it. It also gives your dog enriching choices instead of additional restrictions or anxieties.

How do I schedule a session?

Simply reach out to me through our contact form. I will review your dog's profile and schedule a session that fits your lifestyle.

Are your sessions outdoors only?

While I prioritize being outdoors for enrichment, I offer in-person sessions in your home, or in a local area (like a park or trail) based on appropriateness for the goals of the session.

What are enrichment Outings?

These are specialized walks or trips designed to provide mental stimulation and physical exercise through interactive play, sensory stimulation, training and exploration.

Do you offer puppy sessions?

Yes! Socialization outings are perfect for puppies - and can include the owner if they so chose.
